This charming, unspoiled village has many restaurants and bars. The main square home to intricate water fountains and lined with shady plane trees, is an ideal setting for the cafes and is the scene of a weekly market selling the local produce of vegetables, goats cheese, olives, herbs and honey. The local wines are excellent and inexpensive and the local olive oil and olives are of superb quality.

North of Cotignac lies the mountainous expanse of the Pre-Alps where the Lac de St. Croix and the Gorges du Verdon and the lavender fields are situated. A beautiful location to experience life in the South of France.
